• We’ll take you free of charge to the Trellis Bay dock.

• Arrive about 15–30 minutes before departure.

• Our friendly staff will check you in and you’ll pay your ticket on board with your credit card (no need to book online or have cash).

For our regular daily ferries between Virgin Gorda, Road Town and Beef Island,

There is no need to reserve in advance.

Just come to the ferry terminal about 15 minutes before departure time and our team will check you in and sell you your ticket on the spot.

You can pay with your credit card (no need to rush for cash) or you can purchase your ferry tickets online in advance for routes between Virgin Gorda, Beef Island, Road Town, and St. Thomas, making your travel even easier.

For most visitors traveling from Road Town or Virgin Gorda, you can book The Baths Excursion once you are on board the ferry or with our staff when you check in.

You’ll:

• Take the ferry with Speedy’s

• Be met by our colorful safari buses at the dock

• Be taken up to The Baths / Top of The Baths and back at the scheduled time

Payment is made directly with Speedy’s by credit card – no online pre-booking is required for the standard excursion.

• Tell our staff you’d like The Baths Excursion / Island Tour

• They will add the excursion to your ticket and confirm all times

No extra online form, no separate booking needed.

For private charters, groups, or the St. Thomas–Virgin Gorda Saturday ferry, we recommend reserving or at least contacting us ahead of time,especially in high season.

• St Thomas ↔ Virgin Gorda (Saturdays): check-in closes 30 minutes before departure; you can buy tickets on arrival, but you can also buy them online.

• Private boat transfers or charters: always contact us in advance so we can schedule your boat and crew.

• Regular daily ferries (VG – Road Town – Beef Island):

Arrive about 15 minutes before departure time.

• St. Thomas – Virgin Gorda Saturday ferry:

Check-in cut-off is 30 minutes before departure.

If you’re connecting to a flight, we always suggest choosing a ferry that gives you comfortable extra time.

Yes. On our regular ferries and excursions we accept:

• Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx – no need for cash)

You simply pay when you buy your ticket or on board.

Our ferries are high-capacity vessels and operate several times a day on our main routes. If one departure is busy, our team will help you get on the next available sailing.

For regular services, if you arrive 15–30 minutes before departure, you should not worry about space – our staff on the dock will organize seating and tickets for everyone.

When you arrive, please let our friendly team know your cruise ship and your required return time, they’ll help guide you to the best return option and do everything possible to get you back on time.

For the most accurate plan, please review the schedule on our website the morning of travel and build in a little buffer time for your cruise return.

Remember you are crossing an international border, so you’ll need a valid passport and must pay USVI/BVI port and departure taxes.

Yes, you can bring your luggage on board. Standard suitcases and bags are no problem. For unusually large items or excess luggage, speak with our staff at check-in so they can assist you according to our luggage policy.

Yes, pets are welcome on Speedy’s, but they must be in a carrier while on board for everyone’s comfort and safety. Pet Policy

Yes. Speedy’s offers a complimentary shuttle between Terrance B. Lettsome

International Airport (EIS) and the Trellis Bay ferry dock for our passengers.

• Look for Speedy’s when you exit the arrivals area.

• Our shuttle will take you to/from the dock at no extra cost.

• From Trellis Bay, you simply board the ferry and pay your ticket on board with your credit card.

Yes. If you’re entering the British Virgin Islands (BVI) via Road Town (Tortola), you should plan to complete the BVI online Customs/Immigration entry form (when it’s required/available) before you arrive, then present the confirmation (usually a QR code or reference) during the arrival process in Road Town.

How it typically works on this route

• Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas, USVI) → Road Town (BVI): This is where you enter the BVI, so this is when BVI Immigration & Customs happens.

• Road Town → Spanish Town (Virgin Gorda) : This is an inter-island transfer within the BVI, so you usually don’t redo BVI entry again in Spanish Town (unless officials direct you otherwise).

• Complete the form for each traveler.

• Use Road Town, Tortola as your port of entry (since that’s where you clear in).

• Keep your confirmation handy on your phone (and a screenshot helps).

If you arrive/land in St Thomas at 3.00 pm on a Saturday, you are able to make the ferry. Persons arriving at this time do make the ferry even if it means we hold on for 5 mins.
